Role Description

We are looking for a Business Developer Intern to act as the liaison between our Marketing and Sales teams. Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers.

To be successful in this role, you will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers, from first contact until you close the deal. You will also ensure proper after-sales service. If you are motivated and results-driven, and enjoy working in a team environment, we’d like to meet you.

What does a Business Development Intern do?

A Business Development Intern assists the sales team by researching and identifying potential clients, segmenting prospects, and preparing for outreach campaigns. They play a supportive role in ensuring the sales team has the right targets for their efforts.

Responsibilities for Business developer intern

  • Cause Marketing Research and Data Management
  • Conduct detailed reporting and deep-dive analysis to derive actionable business insights
  • Capture, track, and advance qualified engagements in our CRM lead management system (Salesforce)
  • Work closely with the Business Development and Marketing teams to drive campaigns across APAC
  • Organize and participate in events
  • Execute on multi-step prospecting campaign
  • The Business Development Intern for the Region the Americas will report to the Manager, Business Development
  • Work with the VP of Operations and Business Development Manager to benchmark key operations and risk metrics
  • Assist with other ad hoc assignments
  • Providing support to appropriate parties regarding marketing and business development activities

Qualifications for business developer intern

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to work all levels of the organization, desire to present to senior leader
  • Prefer majors in Economics, Finance, Accounting, and other areas are strongly encouraged to include a cover letter demonstrating clear interest in the position
  • Currently pursuing Bachelors or Masters Degree in Finance or a Project Management related field (Business, Organizational Strategy, etc)
  • Can work independently on a team
  • Analysis of sales data to determine trends and opportunities for sales growth, sales forecasting support, and business proposal development

Compensation

This internship is designed to focus on skill development and offers professional mentorship to enhance your expertise in Content Writer.

• First 2 Months : Focused on learning and growth, with no stipend during this period.
• After 2 Months : Based on performance, there is potential for transitioning to a full-time role with a starting salary of INR 15,000 – 20,000 per month plus incentives.
